Group 7: Precipitation, Evaporation, Level

1. Instruments for precipitation measurement
Hellmann rain gauges, for manual evaluation resp. with built-in recorder; standard version and small version. Precipitation yes/no sensor. Automatical tipping backet rain gauges.

2. Instruments for evaporation measurement
Simple version by Piché. Complete MBR (Modified Bowen Ratio) system by Liu and Foken.

3. Instruments for water level measurement
for level measurement of lakes, rivers etc., or groundwater, by means of pressure probes or (indirectly) by radar sensors.
