Evaporation Measuring System by Liu and Foken
This measuring system, type 7062 serves for measurement of evaporation over soil and plantation surfaces, in particular for agricultural and environmental applications. The measuring principle bases on a “Modified Bowen Ratio" (MBR) method, extended by air flow measurement close to the soil surface. For this purpose, two special Frankenberger psychrometers and a 3D-sonic anemometer are used. A short adjustable aluminium mast with stainless steel guys serves as support. Data evaluation can be accomplished by means of a commercial size PC. A suitable software program is attached.
